Ah, thank you Nora Ephron for giving me quite possibly my favourite film, certainly of the ‘rom-com’ genre at any rate.

The trouble is, the closing scenes created the high bar for declarations of love; the love of your life names every little foible they’ve noticed and adored about you since whenever.

As it goes, I’m glad the wrinkles above my nose aren’t commented upon by my chap, but I do wonder if he’s noticed that adorable mannerism, or this particular freckle.

If you were proposed to/asked someone to marry you over Christmas or New Year, was it a patch on Harry’s efforts? Either way, you likely are now musing on, if not looking at, wedding plans/venues/frocks and the like. I assume if you’re here and have found me, then you’re not doing the ‘church thing’, but perhaps you want more than the ‘registry thing’ can offer in terms of a sense of occasion and personal touches.
